Ernest Borgnine is my favorite actor. He lived an amazing life, with a career spanning sixty years! I have seen many of his movies, and he has never let me down. In memory of his passing, I have written an ode to him.

You made every episode of Mchales Navy a party
You let us peer into your soul in Marty
In the Dirty Dozen, you busted up the krauts
In the Wild Bunch, you played one of the louts.
You crossed a bridge in Escape from NY and paid a heavy toll
You floated around in space in the Black Hole
In Convoy, I think you got peed on!
But in most movies, you mainly got beat on.
In Ice Station Zebra, you were so sneaky!
And in real life, you were a quite cheeky
With talent and charm you weren't a star by chance
You were in a million things, even Spongebob Squarepants!
Like millions of others, I am your fan
It was from your movies, I learned how to be a man.
